1. While registering or modifying an account, customers will not provide false information regarding their identity.
2. Sheerer Internet Services reserves the right to refuse products and services to new customers. Sheerer Internet Services also reserves the right to cancel existing accounts for any reason at any time.
3. Sheerer Internet Services reserves the right to change this policy at any time. A current copy of this policy can be obtained from http://www.sheerer.net/policy.html.
4. Sheerer Internet Services reserves the right to change its prices at any time. Prices for existing customers will change for their next billing period.
5. Customers of Sheerer Internet Services are bound to these policies. Violation of any of these policies will result in warnings, account suspension, or account cancellation without refund. Sheerer Internet Services reserves the right to use its discretion in determining the disciplinary action appropriate for a violation.
6. This agreement is not transferable.
7. Sheerer Internet Services computer services may only be used for lawful purposes. Transmission of any material in violation with any U.S., Iowa, or Black Hawk county law is prohibited. This includes obscene material, copyrighted material, or threatening material. Sheerer Internet Services will not be held liable for such material that is posted illegally by its customers.
8. Sheerer Internet Services will not tolerate email spam. Mass mailing lists to users that have not requested information, faking return addresses, and similar mail soliciting will not be tolerated.
9. Content provided by the customer for the customer's website(s) will be considered the property of the customer and not the property of Sheerer Internet Services. Similarly, any tools, programs, or material (excluding paid custom development) provided by Sheerer Internet Services for the customer's use will be considered the property of Sheerer Internet Services and will not be transferable after discontinued hosting with Sheerer Internet Services.
10. The property/resources of Sheerer Internet Services and other Sheerer Internet Services's customers must be respected.
11. While Sheerer Internet Services attempts to keep its service available, Sheerer Internet Services provides its services on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis and cannot guarantee a specific amount of availability to its service and the service provided to its customers. Sheerer Internet Services will not be held liable for an unavailability of service.
12. Customers should realize that data stored on their websites, and on any computing medium, is subject to loss. Even though Sheerer Internet Services carefully backs up website data, customers should be aware that unforeseen circumstances can lead to loss of data. Sheerer Internet Services will not be held liable for costs arising from data loss.
13. Data stored on websites is meant to be accessible by everyone on the Internet. Customers who selectively provide sensitive data (such as customer lists, credit card numbers, etc.) to users should be aware of the risks and take all possible efforts in protecting their data. Sheerer Internet Services will not be held liable for costs arising in exploitation of sensitive data that a customer chooses to store online.
